BREAKWATER WAY BEACH HIGHLIGHTS

Breakwater Way Beach is a quite, sandy beach in Oceanside, CA . The San Luis Rey River inlet separates the beach from Harbor Beach and Oceanside Harbor to the north. Oceanside Pier is about a mile to the south and within walking distance.

Breakwater Way is good for swimming, sunbathing and surfing. During summer, surfers have to go to the north end of the beach at the jetty to surf. Breakwater Way Beach doesn't get the crowds that some of Oceanside's other beaches get, since the beach is more secluded and within a residential area. Harbor Beach and the beaches just north and south of the pier get the large summer crowds.

BEACH AMENITIES

Restrooms and showers are available. Picnic tables and barbecue grills are also available. There is a volleyball court.
