HARBOR DAYS HIGHLIGHTS
Oceanside Harbor Days will feature arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. 50,000 people are expected at the event.
Spectators at Oceanside Harbor Days can experience fun activities including the new Pirates Plunder exhibition, vintage pirate ships, children's area, Nail 'n' Sail Competition, Military, Police & Fire displays, and more.

Entertainment Stage Featuring Live Music, a Bench Press Contest, Beauty Pageant and more.
Nail & Sail Competition
The Nail & Sail is the highlight of the weekend. The contest pits brain against brawn as teams at-
tempt to build and navigate a seaworthy craft
around a short, but treacherous course. Entrants compete for such awards as
“First to Sink” and “Ugliest Boat”
Many Try…Some Finish...Some Don’t.
Pirates Cove
Authentic pirates, shiny new booty and pirate merchandise, canons that give a real bang, and a children’s area chalk full of pirate rides and activities for ye young ones. Meet Captain Jack
Sparrow and his crew of scallywags as they scuttle around Harbor Days looking for lost treasure and their ships!
Fishing Derby
Poles and people swarm around the fishing pier while youngsters in various age brackets bait their hooks and cast their lines to see who will come up with the biggest fish of the day. Of course the fish stories get bigger every year.
Canoe Regatta Challenge
Canoes, paddles and instruction are provided for a team of four to join in a friendly competition with teams from other Oceanside organizations and groups. Fun Displays and Programs
Annual features also include a fascinating Marine
Corps amphibious vehicle demonstration, an exotic
